The TFK <> ECC801S is the best ECC81 ever made on this planet. These are made in West Germany, have a diamond <> bottem (check here) and original boxes. Boxes are originally factory sealed, in original 5-packs. These are rarer than gold in this quality! Made in Ulm, West Germany. These can be bought originally closed, and then you buy them as collectors item, as a "sealed box with untested contents". Contents are "as is". Or we open the boxes for you, and you receive them with test data made with the Amplitrex tester. So you can have it either way. Some other pairs have dusty boxes, and cellophane is opened. Pic1 - Pic2 - Pic3. Inside are prestine quality tubes, with identical datecodes. These are extremely rare with identical datecodes. It means they were indeed made the same day. Two perfectly matched pairs available. Amplitrex tested. |

Very impressive quality ECC801S. These are alle balanced right out of the box. Test values are tight and close to the center value for all tubes no matter which one I take out of the pack. This is characteristic for ECC801S, but there has allways been a lot of re-stamping ECC801S on plain ECC81. Well not with those, they are real ECC801S, for sure. For those who can decipher it, there is a picture of the small printing too. It shows also these have the nice copper grid bars, as was seen with most Mullard types. |
