Choose a Lundahl transfomer by impedance
We have PBCs for output transformers.
These are optional to the transformers, making the wiring simpler, prevent errors, and add a dual impedance option to the larger types.
PBCs for output transformers:
- EE15. Primary board for LL1620, LL1623, LL1627, LL9202.
- EE16. Secondary board for LL1620, LL1623, LL1627, LL9202. Dual Impedance.
- EE17. Dual Impedance with external Switch. Attached to EE16.
- EE18. Secondary board for LL1620, LL1623, LL1627, LL9202. Dual Impedance.
- EE19. Dual Impedance with external Switch. Attached to EE18.
- EE32. Secondary Board for LL1679. Dual Impedance.
- EE17. Dual Impedance with external Switch. Attached to EE32.
- EE63. Primary + Secondary in one. For LL1663, LL1664, LL1682

The impedances listed in this table, can be achieved by hand soldering wire pieces to the transformers. In that case, use the data sheet instructions, and use the "Alt" schemes.
For more convenience and nicer resrults we have made these PCBs. WIth the PCBs, just select the impedance from the table here, and PCB belonging to it.
PCBs for the multi impedance transformers allow TWO impedances, which can be set on the board with: Wire links, or a switch, or with an external switch board, attached to the output board.

PP versions(max 15% offset) |
The standard PP Versions can take 15% DC Current offset, and keep all datasheet specifications while doing so. At lower offset, the transformer will behave even better than datasheet specifications. Useually meaning the low (3dB) point will be better as expected. This also applies when you use a transformer below it's maximum power level. So the datasheet is always a worst case specification. This explains why you may meausure the transformer will go down to (for instance) 3Hz, while the datasheet specifies 20Hz. |

PPZ Versions |
PPZ stands for PP-Zero-DC. Parafeed transformers are a non-catalog product, and JACMUSIC supplies those on customer order, at no extra costs. The Parafeed have roughly twice the inductance as compared to standard products, but for that can take zero DC current. These will give much improved bass performance, as the low (3dB) point will go down to half the frequency of normal PP versions. There is no datasheet for those, but obviously this text here is all there is to say about it. On the transformer is printed PPZ instead of PP. | |||||
