Harvey "Gizmo" Rosenberg's N.Y.A.L. OTL works. Of course we all know Julius Futterman, the inventor of the OTL amplifier. And of course we also know the person who started the first production of those, it was HARVEY ROSENBERG who called himself Dr. Gizmo. When I think about the way HARVEY ROSENBERG was scammed on the Audio Asylum Forum, and about they way a bunch of unmature moderators let this go on, I get this feeling what a good Internet Forum is not supposed to be. We had just started sponsoring the forum, and we stopped with it quickly again. This was one of the worst examples of bad moderation I have ever seen. Anyway, this is not what the article is about... The article is about the works of Harvey Rosenberg. |

A detailed article by M. Feretti, about how to use the 2A3 tube. Marco is a student of electronic engineering at the Turin Polytechnic in Italy. He became involved with tube amplification in highschool, and then was attracted to audio reproduction. After practicing with push-pull amplifiers, he focused his research on single ended designs. |

by Dieter Ennemoser. Dieter is a studied violin builder, and a great personality. He manages his life in such a way he can do the things he likes, nothing more and nothing less. That is working with violins, build them, and guiding young talented musicians that share the same obsession. Dieter is the creator the wonderful C37 glass shape for DHT tubes, and is the patent owner for the word C37 too. Why do some materials sound good and other sound bad? There is no reprint here.
It is easy to read, and very interesting. About the harmony between shape and materials, and how the sound is resulting from it. German + English Version is available from: "Musikverlag PAN" - Switzerland. Fax Nr. 0041-1-3114108 |
